McDonald’s is incorporating grumpy but beloved Christmas characters into a new limited edition menu.
McDonald’s will release the Grinch Meal on Tuesday, December 2nd. The holiday meal, available at participating restaurants nationwide, includes the new Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries. Classic McDonald’s fries are served with dill pickle seasoning. Customers can create their own tangy fries by mixing fries and seasonings in a Mac shaker bag.
The Grinch meal was first introduced in Canada in 2024. The meal’s success made it “a no-brainer” to bring it to the U.S., Alyssa Butikofer, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald’s USA, said in a statement.

According to a McDonald’s news release, the Grinch Meal includes:
- 10 pieces of Big Mac or Chicken Mac Nuggets
- Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” Mac Shaker Fries
- medium drink
- Grinch and McDonald’s themed socks (available in red, blue, yellow, and green)
