McDonald’s debuted a special McFleurley flavour, but Americans still can’t enjoy it.
The fast food chain giant recently launched its birthday cake McFlurry in Canada ahead of the 30th anniversary of the dessert classic next month.
According to McDonald’s, the sweet treat combines a soft serve of vanilla with matte cake flavored confetti cookie dough and birthday cake syrup. The regular size has a total of 680 calories, with a total of 440 snack sizes.
The McFlurry was invented 30 years ago in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and was released on June 7, 1995.
Earlier this year, the company launched the limited-time “’95 McFlurry” in Ontario as part of its basketball team’s collaboration with the Toronto Raptors. This item combines team’s purple and red colours with vanilla soft serve, red pop candies and blueberry flavored syrup.
Is McFlurry Birthday Cake available in the US?
Birthday Cake McFree Flavor is currently not available in the US
As of May 13th, American customers can only access staple food and M&M flavors, as the release date for the birthday cake McFlurry US had not yet been announced.
USA Today reached out to McDonald’s for comment.
Last year, McDonald’s unveiled two special flavors for a limited time, including the kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry and Grandma McFlurry.
Grandma McFrey features syrup and chopped candy pieces, while Kit Cat Banana split the McFleury and blended real bananas and strawberry clusters with chocolate cat catwave happiness pieces.
