New York – Hot new bombs in Villa Runway at New York Fashion Week.

“Love Island USA” Season 7 Star Olandia Curtain made her Fashion Week model debut at the Sergio Hudson Show on Friday.

On the September 12 show, Carthen was one of the early models of the runway, and the self-proclaimed “Bama Barbie” looks like any doll with a vast brown animal version printed blouse, black micro shorts and black lace heels. The exterior was completed with an oversized black belt and gold earrings in a statement.

As 27-year-old Carthen went down the runway, Vansteenberghe pulled out her phone to record her, and smiled with pride as the crowd applauded as she walked around the room. 24-year-old Vansteenberghe chose the chic all-black ensemble for the front row jant, among the turtlenecks paired with matching jackets and tuxedo pants.

“Love Island USA” star Serena Page made history with boyfriend Cordel Beckham in season 6 as the first black couple to win the show, sitting next to Vanstenberge, excitedly documenting the curtains as a pillar.

Julez Smith and Bernie Martíne Zocasio brought star power to the J. Press Show at New York Fashion Week.

Designer Sergio Hudson told USA Today that after the show it was a big moment to have Love Island cast members step into the show.

Carthen interviewed her in Hudson designs after the real-life dating competition show was wrapped up this summer, and she was discovered in a few more weeks after the US opened.

“I didn’t know about the show either (“Love Island USA”), Hudson says. “When she started dressing and I started seeing the reaction… I went and saw it, and I was like, ‘Oh, well’. She was just an incredibly dynamic girl. And I wanted to see something in Gen Z.

Growing up in South Carolina, Hudson connected with Curtain, who is originally from Alabama, and knew she had to include her in the show.

“We are both from the south and she is a beautiful girl inside and out,” says Hudson. “And I don’t usually put non-models in the show, but she’s inspiring, and I really wanted to connect with that age group.

Curtain, who originally joined Love Island as a sales expert in the elevator industry, has revealed that reaching the top floor of the world of modeling is her dream.

Carthen joined with Vansteenberge in the final weeks of the show. His former partner, Cierra, left due to a racism scandal, and the internet has gone wild beyond the newly booed duo called “Nicolandria” of Fervent fans. The couple has been playing rounds during NYFW, sitting in the front row early in the day off-white and appearing at Theophilio the night before.

Mary J. Briguet brought star power to the front row, including actress Natasha Lyonne, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Candi Barce,” and the morning show “Star Cullen Pittman and more.

Blige went past security and led to the show. So, all the photographers in the room stopped taking photos. On this occasion she rocked a long-sleeved white cargo mini dress with gold accessories: a large belt, a small wallet, and her signature knee high boots.

Lyonne chatted with Tony-winning producer Jordan Ross, celebrity stylist June Ambrose and designer/actor Wallis Earlwaria.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection has returned to Hudson’s familiar design realm: the charm of the 80s.

“It’s my happy place,” says Hudson. But “Whenever I’m depressed, I’m probably going to design really sexy ’80s clothes that prince girls wear in the video.”

The vibrant neon colors, animal versions, Liberus gold pops and slinky sequins travel down the runway, with slightly less work than fans historically seen from Hudson. The impact of the Trump administration’s tariffs is partly responsible.

“I have seven looks stuck in India because embroidery is being done in India. All clothes are made here, but they have special (craftsmen) in India. These beautiful embroidery knows we don’t have that workforce here in the US anymore. “And they put all these tariffs on them and my clothes got stuck.”
