Trump fires Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook
On August 25th, President Donald Trump took the unprecedented action of firing Lisa Cook, the first African-American woman to serve as the federal reserve governor.
The president had called on chefs to resign. On August 20, William Prute, director of the US Federal Housing Finance Agency, accused the two mortgages of claiming as key housing. The Justice Department said it is investigating the issue.
Judge temporarily blocks Kilmer Abrego Garcia’s deportation
A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from temporarily deporting Kilmer Abrego Garcia for the second time – after he was unfairly taken away by El Salvador earlier this year. Maryland District Judge Paula Sinis ruled on Monday that the government cannot deport Abrego Garcia until the government can hold a hearing in his latest lawsuit challenged him to exile. Xinis’ order came hours after our immigration agents took Abrego Garcia into custody, when he reported to the Immigration Customs Enforcement Field Office in Baltimore for what his lawyer was told was a mandatory check-in.

Hurricane season “Little” could last for two weeks
Quiet weather forecasts across the Atlantic Basin over the next two weeks could test the saying “settled before the storm,” predictors say. Tropical Storm Fernando headed for open water in the Central Atlantic Ocean, east and northeast of Bermuda on Monday. The Meteorological Bureau said the progressive weakening is likely on Tuesday, with Fernando being projected to become a post-tropical cyclone without landing on Wednesday. He rarely reported it to the centre. Still, Accuweather’s Hurricanes Chief Expert Alex Dasilva said the hurricane season, which ends June 1st to November 30th, could soon get hot.

Tens of thousands of “burners” gather in remote desert areas to celebrate art, music and personal freedoms over a week. The storm that struck the Black Rock desert on August 24th temporarily suspended entry to the event, which officially began at 12:01am that day.
