Of all the things I dreamed of, one day specializing in and reviewing car branded high-end drinks from the world’s most ridiculous grocery stores was not on the list. But here we are! Yes, another OEM is partnering with the owner of Los Angeles’ $19 strawberry, Elewon’s number one. Clarification Quick Point: We’re talking about a $19 single strawberry. Yes, one. Rivian, a manufacturer of excellent R1T trucks and R1S SUVs, works with Elewon from Southern California to produce cold organic juices called Electric Adventures. No, really.

This is not unprecedented, like last October. Other than Chevrolet, we also partner with Elewon to sell Blue Electric Juice. To refresh your memory, the “worried blue” drink tastes like Sily Milk. Not bad at all, but I didn’t go back to the second bottle. If I gave Chevy an email address, it was a mistake to look back, given its price.

The Libian partnership is a different animal. First off, electric adventures are juice, not smoothies. And secondly, it certainly isn’t free. Want to pint? It will bring you $14 back. It’s expensive for any metric. A recent beer pint is $5, while a good pint beer costs between $7 and $8. To be clear, electric adventures do not contain alcohol. Just juice. Have you met Elehon?

Witness, I spent quite a bit of time with Chevrolet stories, telling Smack about Elewon. Everything I said remains true, and even more so by offering a $19 “Gorgeous Fruit: Strawberry.” The point of my anger is that if you are a comedy writer looking for a parody of Los Angeles, you can’t do better than explain Elewon accurately.

Even the relatively gentle (by Elewon standards) Pasadena location I visited for this taste test is a 30 minute laugh. Certainly, Pasadena is a prominent consumption of older money and less nonsense in Paltrow-inspired Woowoo probiotics. But there are still many of the latter. You can be yours for $39, like a bottle of Seamos gel available in four flavors ranging from Mother Earth to Venus vibe. each.

So, yes, if you sway to the cash register with a bottle of sea moss gel and strawberry (though it’s a pretty flashy strawberry), you’re talking $58. I think the best steak I’ve ever had was $56.

Why does Libian partner with Elewon? We really don’t know. Electric Adventure Juice is not from the Libian website or Elewon. I pinged Libian PR and they said I should have received the email (I didn’t), but that PR wasn’t actually involved. I actually only knew about the partnership from Rivian’s Instagram account, but there’s not even much information there. Post: “Electric Adventure just fell on Elewon. This isn’t your average juice. It’s a citrus-charged, sea-mounted, ginger-turbo boost. That’s it. Note: Please mention it costs $14 for 16 oz.

Libian knows it’s a Tri motor because it’s a storm blue, a potential customer is in the parking lot to test drives, and is a Tri motor because it’s a color available only on Tri and Quad. I politely declined seeing that I brought my own R1T.

Clearly, and like Chevrolet, Libian feels there’s a synergistic effect between Elewon’s cold press, organic customers and itself. Feathered birds flock to the crowd. Plus, Libyans would want to get people who bought $19 strawberries to court precisely cheap (at least still more) and buy them. right? right.

One thing you probably don’t know about me is that I am a BJCP certified Beer Judge. Yes, being certified is to be capitalized because it is at the level I have achieved. The next level is national and I missed it with 2 points and got 78 but need 80. I’m still angry. My point is that I’m pretty decent at tasting the liquid, so I got a $14 bottle of Libian Electric Adventure, but I also left Just Greens & Apple, a $12 bottle of Pineapple Dream and a $11 bottle.

But I thought I was grabbing a $21 heavy metal detox so I ruined that last one. After all, all green drinks look the same. Plus, for the green drinks, the only thing that was OK was the greens and apples. Anyway, here are reviews of all three ridiculously priced juices.

Libian Electric Adventure, $14

exterior: Looks like fresh squeezed orange juice. It’s very vivid.

nose: Tangerine, blood orange, lemon zest, turmeric, allspice.

taste: A huge hit with spicy inger. I feel like I’m in the sushi bar between bites and cleanse my palette. Oranges, lemons, but fresh inger dominates.

Finish: A sweet drink with sugar covering the back of your tongue. I think some of the wounds I’m assuming are from the pineapple. It’s very refreshing, but spicy.

evaluation: 3.25 Trust Funds 4. A surprising different orange juice experience. This differs from the fact that $14 may be worth it, especially when mixed with vodka/champagne.

Pineapple Dream, $12

exterior: Looks like grapefruit juice for breakfast. It spreads out in a hotel in Germany. It’s not a natural color.

nose: A faint pineapple, a faint raspberries. There is not at all.

taste: It tastes like orange juice mixed with pineapple juice. A little strawberry, but barely.

Finish: It’s sweet, but has a tiny pineapple sharpness on its tongue.

evaluation: 1.5 Lululemon Yoga Outfits Out Out from 4. You need more seamos gel, kam cam, ashwagandha and more.

Greens & Apple only, $11

exterior: Thick slime. However, if Porsche changes this to the PTS (sample) color Kaleaka kale green, sold like $30 pancakes.

nose: Grass cutout, green apple.

taste: Celery and kale are mixed with apple juice. Celery controls. The important part is that you can’t taste kale. Kale is a major prop for concealing the flavor as it tastes gloss.

Finish: Bright, gentle, sweet. Comfortable aftertaste.

evaluation: 2.5 of the four Fedoras.

There you have it. The winner of this absolutely absurd electric juice off is Libian Electric Adventure Juice. So I say it. Not bad at all. In fact, I still have half the bottle in the fridge. In fact, I’m secretly thinking about another bite now. Hey, I’m making it the last $14 pop.
