Zelensky to meet Trump in DC after the Alaska Summit with Putin
Ukrainian President Zelenki confirmed a meeting with President Trump at the White House on Monday to end the Russian war after the Alaska Summit with Trump and Putin.
Last week, when President Donald Trump met with European leaders in Alaska, but failed to reach a ceasefire contract in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, he wrote a light letter of children in a personal letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin last week.
“It’s time,” she wrote, protecting children and future generations around the world.
“We must strive to portray a world full of dignity for all, and then all souls may awaken to peace. “A simple yet profound concept, Putin, is that, as you are sure you agree, each generation of descendants begins their lives with purity. They are innocent on geography, government, ideology.”
President Donald Trump Hand delivered a letter to Putin during the summit on August 15th.
The letter shared with USA Today does not specifically mention Ukraine. The long meeting between Trump and Putin ended with a vague statement to the media that Putin spoke about the “consensus,” and Trump declared that “no contract” had been achieved to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The letter does not mention the tens of thousands of Ukrainian children claiming in the war on the country or Russian occupied territory without the consent of their families or guardians.
“In today’s world, some children are forced to harbor a quiet laugh when exposed to the darkness around them. A quiet rebellion against the power that can potentially assert their future.
Moscow says they moved them to protect them from war zones. Many are set up for adoption.
Ukraine says children were taken without the consent of their parents or guardians and compared to war crimes that meet the definition of the UN Genocide Treaty.
