Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t know you, but he feels 32.

The Oscar-winning Titanic star, who turned 50 last year, drew ock on social media after revealing in an interview with Esquire on August 13 that he feels like he’s 32.

This quote comes from a discussion between DiCaprio and his “Fighting after Battles” director Paul Thomas Anderson. Addressing DiCaprio, the filmmaker said, “I’m going to ask you a question, and you’ll answer as soon as possible. If you don’t know how old you are, how old are you now?”

DiCaprio replied, “32.”

Anderson suggested that DiCaprio should “examine what happened when you were 32.” The “Boogie Night” director then asked the actor what questions Esquire had prepared for him. However, DiCaprio rephrased this as “I emotionally put it in 35 last year.”

DiCaprio’s quote soon draws ridiculous on social media, and some fans read it as an effort to justify the fact that it is known to date women much younger than them. The film star has recently been romantically linked to 27-year-old supermodel Vittoria Ceretti. The couple joined the Met Gala in May when Ceretti was 26 years old.

“Like the only way to try and chase girls under the age of 25,” one X user said, while another joked.

“A straight guy is emotionally immature. A groundbreaking thing,” comedian Julia Claire has also stopped.

However, some people came to DiCaprio’s defense and said they could be related to emotions.

“People will tease this for his lifestyle and dating roster, but honestly, most people in nearly 50 will tell you the exact same thing,” posted X user Danny Manus. “(I’m almost 45 years old and I feel emotionally 30. Who would like to feel their age?”

Anderson also seemed to have something to do with the idea. The 55-year-old filmmaker raised an age question to DiCaprio and stated, “By the way, my answer was 27.”

DiCaprio was opened in a more serious tone during an Esquire chat about turning 50.

“I can only imagine how the next few decades will advance,” he recalls. “For example, I look at my mother and she doesn’t waste time by saying exactly what she thinks. She doesn’t spend time trying to fake it.”

DiCaprio continues, “Be more positive, risking things fall apart, risking differences, risking separate ways from all kinds of relationships in life – personal, expert – that means you don’t want to waste your time anymore.
