Lego’s latest Lego Icon set will be available for purchase this weekend, and it’s a set dog lovers won’t want to miss.

The new Lego Icon Golden Retriever Puppy will be available to purchase from Sunday 1st February.

“Our latest LEGO adult set is packed with the big energy of a Golden Retriever,” LEGO said in an Instagram post.

According to Lego’s website, the set features a golden retriever puppy wearing a blue collar with a gold tag that can be posed in various positions. Contains 2,102 pieces and is recommended for adults 18 years and older.

The pup joins other pet sets including the 1,722-piece LEGO Disney 101 Dalmatian Puppy Set and the 1,710-piece LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat.

Here’s what you need to know, including how much it costs and where you can buy it.

Where can I buy the Lego Golden Retriever Puppy Set?

Starting Sunday, Feb. 1, the Lego Icon Golden Retriever Puppy will be available for purchase at Lego stores, the Lego website, Target stores and the Target website, a Lego spokesperson told USA TODAY via email.

Lego sets will be available at other major retailers on April 1st, but Lego has not said where.

How much does the Lego Golden Retriever Puppy Set cost?

The LEGO set retails for $139.99 (excluding taxes and fees).

The LEGO set was available for pre-order on the LEGO website, but pre-orders have now ended. Lego says pre-orders are scheduled to ship on Sunday, February 1st.

You can purchase up to 3 sets at a time.

What is the recommended age for the LEGO Golden Retriever puppy set?

The LEGO set, like other sets in the LEGO Icon line, is recommended for adults 18 years and older.

Lego sets that are rated 18+ are more advanced than other sets and may include more pieces or more intricate designs. According to Lego’s website, the set is “specifically designed for adults” so they can “unplug, unbox and relax.”

A Lego spokesperson said the set was designed with adults in mind. However, parents can still build sets together.

How big is the LEGO Golden Retriever puppy set?

The 2,102-piece LEGO set stands approximately 1 foot tall and 11.5 inches tall when assembled.

How can Lego sets be made movable?

Lego says the Golden Retriever puppy’s head, ears and tail can be posed to create canine expressions. The paws can be lifted and the mouth opens, allowing the creator to add a pink tongue made of LEGO “for a wide range of adorable expressions.”

The Lego set also features a row of small teeth.
