Lego unveils new SMART bricks at CES
The LEGO Group announced new SMART Play bricks at CES, and the first building sets featuring Star Wars will be released in March.
Lego isn’t just for building. Thanks to Crocs, Crocs have become a fashion statement.
The LEGO Group has teamed up with Crocs to create the LEGO Brick Clog, a brick-shaped clog inspired by plastic building block toys.
On January 23, after Estonian music artist Tommy Cash was spotted wearing a Lego-themed outfit at Paris Fashion Week, online chatter began to spread, with news aggregators ranging from Pop Bass to Complex Sneakers. But the real star of the show were the Lego block clogs he wore on his feet.
Fans couldn’t help but share their reactions to the clogs, which ranged from unbridled enthusiasm to annoyance. Some people online are comparing the Lego Brick Clog to MSCHF’s “Big Red Boots” because of its cartoon-like appearance.
According to Crocs, the Lego Brick Clog is the first of several products planned for “2026 and beyond.”
“The new silhouette combines Crocs’ signature comfort with LEGO-inspired design elements, including four oversized studs engraved with the LEGO logo, a rotatable heel strap for a secure fit, and a brick-inspired outsole,” Crocs said in a statement.

Fans are unsure what to make of LEGO Brick Geta
Fans have had harsh reactions to the Lego Brick Clog, with some absolutely loving the shoe and others not really understanding the collaboration’s fashion sense.
“How do you put together an oversized red square brick? The only answer might be to attend Comic-Con,” an X user named Frank Kirkland said in a Jan. 28 post. “In the videos I’ve seen, the wearer takes exaggerated steps to avoid tripping. Functionality. I’m a Lego fan, but these are a resounding ‘no, sir.’ hard pass. ”
Meanwhile, another social media user named Skriya Darden praised the clogs in a post on January 29, saying, “Lego block Crocs are much more impressive (even in goofiness).”

Lego Brick Clogs will be available for purchase online at Crocs.com and Lego.com starting Monday, February 16th. Each pair retails for $149.99 and includes a LEGO minifigure with four pairs of unique LEGO brick clogs.
