Uber and Turo are partnering to provide a unique experience in selected cities for this Labor Day weekend. It’s totally free thanks to the new promotions.
So where can you soak in this pool truck, and what’s the point of this strange new partnership promotion?

Why Uber and Turo rent pool trucks this summer
Uber’s services have expanded beyond the original ride-sharing service, with the Uber Eats Food and Grocery Delivery Service. The app now allows users to book car rentals through a variety of companies including Budget, TURO, Avis and more. The new service is win-win for Uber and car rental companies as it exposes Uber’s large customer base to car rental companies and services via Uber’s user-friendly interface.
Currently, Uber and Turo offer unique services in several locations for Labor Day weekend.
The two companies partnered to provide users with a free and unique experience. Two-hour reservation at the Libian Truck with a truck bed and pool. Reservations opened on August 20th via the Uber app at Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California locations.
The Los Angeles Santa Monica pier location is no longer booked, but availability of Miami Bayside Marketplace locations in Miami on Labor Day weekends on August 30th and August 31st may still be limited.
Uber, what does Turo Pool Truck Experience include?
Uber covers events and rides for participants who reserve limited experience. Uber’s Turo Pool Truck Experience features music, popsicles and other complimentary summer merchandise.
Participants will receive a takeaway kit and $300 TURO rental credit (valid only if booked via the Uber app). This experience includes attendants as well. So, which pickup truck bed is big enough to double as a pool and cool enough to bring a WOW factor to this promotion?

How big is the truck bed on the Libian R1T?
The bed of the Libian R1T full-size electric pickup truck is 54.1 inches with tailgate above. It is 50.3 inches wide and 18.3 inches tall. With over 2,900 ratings (4/5 stars), Amazon’s inflatable pool is 22 inches deep. Therefore, the R1T truck bed can incorporate a decent pool for 1-2 hours.
The bed comes with two standard 120 volt electric outlets, so you shouldn’t try replicating this bed setup at home without serious research or attention.
