Indiana vs. Miami: College Football Playoff National Championship Preview
Preview of the College Football Playoff national championship game, Indiana vs. Miami. Featuring key players, strategies and predictions.
Krispy Kreme is gearing up for a big fight.
Ahead of the college football national championship game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes, the donut company and coffeehouse chain announced its new Championship Dozen, an assortment of deep red and orange football-shaped donuts and six “Original Glazed” donuts.
“Whether they’re cheering from home or gathering with family and friends for the game, Krispy Kreme’s Championship Dozen allows fans to show off their game day spirit,” Krispy Kreme said in a Jan. 16 news release.
In addition to the Christmas spread, Krispy Kreme is also extending its BOGO offer (buy a dozen, get a free dozen of Original Glazed) through Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Unlike the BOGO offer, the Championship Dozen will only be available on Monday, January 19th.
Here’s how to claim Krispy Kreme’s BOGO offer, including details on the “Championship Dozen.”
Championship Dozen Details
All of Championship Dozen’s donuts are football-shaped, except for the six original glazed ones. Three are crimson (the color of #1 Indiana) and the other three are orange (the color of Miami #10).
Krispy Kreme says customers can order up to six orange or deep red football donuts if they want to customize the 12 if they support a particular team.
Orange Football Donuts and Crimson Football Donuts are both “unglazed shell donuts filled with white cream,” topped with icing in the shape of football laces. Crimson donuts have chocolate icing and orange donuts have vanilla icing.
How to claim Krispy Kreme’s BOGO offer
To claim Krispy Kreme’s BOGO offer, simply “Buy Any Dozen” including the Championship Dozen and get the Original Glazed Dozen for just $1. There is a limit of 2 items per guest.
Both the $1 BOGO offer and Championship Dozen are available for in-store pickup or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app and website.
