Americans worried about the economy cut back on beer and donuts
Molson Coors, the beer company, and Krispy Kreme, the donut maker, have lowered their sales forecasts for the rest of the year.

The holiday season may be over, but Krispy Kreme wants to celebrate the coldest time of the year just a little bit more.
Inspired by the “taste and comfort people crave during winter,” the seasonal collection will introduce four “all-new” donuts to customers. Krispy Kreme’s latest product will act as a catalyst for “five limited-time seasonal lineups” through 2026.
“Each (assortment) is created to offer a unique flavor that provides the seasonal flavor and comfort people crave during winter, spring, summer, fall, and the holidays,” the donut company and coffee house chain said in a news release.
Krispy Kreme’s “Winter Seasonal Collection” will be available for a “limited time” at participating stores nationwide.

From raspberry cheesecake donuts to cinnamon sugar cake donuts, the collection offers a variety of “luxurious and comforting” flavors to satisfy your cravings this winter.
- caramel dulce donut: An original glazed donut dipped in caramel icing and salted caramel dulce.
- chocolate truffle donut: Unglazed donuts filled with chocolate truffle-flavored cream are dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with chocolate icing, and topped with chocolate chips.
- raspberry cheesecake donut: Unglazed donut dipped in raspberry-flavored icing and graham crunch, topped with cheesecake-flavored buttercream.
- cinnamon sugar cake donut – The Original Glazed Cinnamon Old Fashioned Cake Donut.
All donuts featured in the Winter Seasonal Collection, whether individually or in packs of 12, can be purchased in-store, picked up or delivered through the Krispy Kreme app and website.
Krispy Kreme is encouraging customers to add Caramel Vanilla Latte and Caramel Brown Sugar Latte to their orders, available hot, iced or frozen, “to complete the cozy winter experience.”
