Tyrees Halliburton and the Indiana Pacers have another opportunity to close the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks. This time at home.
Jalen Brunson and The Knicks are 111-94 wins in Game 5 at Madison Square Garden to avoid elimination. The Knicks will need to do it again on the roads of Gainbridge Field House to expand the series. The Knicks’ victory brings the series back to New York, leading the series 3-3.

Tyrese Haliburton went from the 3-point line to 0-4 from the field, including 2-2, but contributed to the Pacers’ four assists and two steals.
Miles Turner is a major Indiana scorer and scored six points.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with seven points and two assists. He shot 3-for-7 from the field, including 3-for-3 from long range. Mitchell Robinson had six points and six rebounds for New York.

The New York Knicks had to somehow hold the Indiana Pacers down to stop the elimination and return to this Eastern Conference Finals. New York did exactly that in at least one game on Thursday night, becoming the first team in this postseason to bring Indiana under 100 points in a 111-94 victory.
New York harassed Indiana starters in Game 5 and flocked around the court. The Knicks made the Pacer starter a mere 13 field goals with 33.3% shooting. The bench was poured onto the 57.

Reggie Mill led the Pacers to the 2000 NBA Finals, where he faced the Los Angeles Lakers and their star-studded duo of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neill. The Pacers quickly fell to 0-2 holes against the Lakers, but rebounded in a Game 3 victory. The Lakers took a 3-1 lead in Game 4 wins.
