Jimmy Kimmel thinks it might be time for President Donald Trump to take a break from screens.

The late-night show host on Tuesday, Dec. 2, mocked President Trump for having an unusually active night on Truth Social, posting more than 150 posts in one night. On Dec. 1, the president posted exactly 158 times between 9 p.m. and 12 a.m., according to Axios.

Kimmel referred to the “onslaught” of posts from “the guy who supposedly runs the country,” saying, “I’ve said it before, but the truth is, this time he went completely insane last night.”

To visually convey President Trump’s “stormy posts,” Kimmel projected a number of Trump’s truthful social messages on a screen behind him.

“Do you know how long you have to be in the bathroom to post that much?” he joked, before going on to ask, “What was Melania doing during this five-hour manic Monday marathon? Was she hiding under the Christmas tree?”

Trump’s social posts included everything from attacks on political opponents to footage of his cameo in the 1992 film “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” which Kimmel said he believed was “the last time Donald Trump was happy.”

Jimmy Fallon also weighed in on President Trump’s post controversy on “The Tonight Show,” quipping, “I think we know where the Venezuelan cocaine went.”

“It’s like someone saying to President Trump, ‘Give me the MRI results without telling me the MRI results,'” he continued. “160 posts overnight. President Trump’s thumb was as swollen as his ankle this morning.”

Various late-night show hosts also covered President Trump’s recent Cabinet meeting on Dec. 2. Kimmel characterized it simply as an excuse for President Trump to “heap praise on him” and played a montage of clips of the president appearing to close his eyes during the meeting.

“Tell me again how Sleepy Joe is doing,” Kimmel joked. “Of course he was tired. He had been up all night posting!”

Meanwhile, Stephen Colbert also claimed on “The Late Show” that Trump “fell asleep” while Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke at a Cabinet meeting.

“Let’s be fair,” Colbert joked. “Maybe he’s so old that he fell asleep during the afternoon meeting. Or maybe he just closed his eyes to concentrate on his adult diaper. Then he fell asleep.”
