Brain scans have revealed Kim Kardashian is “hypoactive” after learning she has a small brain aneurysm.
The “All’s Fair” actress, 45, underwent a scan on the Nov. 27 episode of Hulu’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” where Dr. Daniel Amen highlighted “holes” that suggested the front of her brain was “less active than it should be.”
As she prepares to take the California bar exam in July 2025, the renowned psychologist specializing in brain diseases said decreased activity could be caused by chronic stress.
“When your frontal lobe is working, it’s hard to deal with stress, and that’s not good, especially when you’re studying and getting ready to take the board,” Amen told Kardashian, who was with longtime family friend Scott Disick.
Amen added that while the Skims co-founder is not overly anxious or depressed, she is extremely sleepy, which worried her even more.
“That can’t happen. That can’t happen. I can’t accept it,” she said. “We have some (expletive) work to do this summer, so we need to come up with a plan to really fix this.”
On a positive note, Amen assured Kardashian that her risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease is not high and said she is “extraordinary in terms of being positive.”
“I have a beautiful brain,” Kardashian said in a confessional. “I’ve heard that before.”
Kim Kardashian shares latest information about brain aneurysm
After revealing his cerebellar aneurysm diagnosis on the Oct. 23 episode of “The Kardashians,” the entrepreneur gave an update on “Good Morning America” on Oct. 28.
“I ended up having to go to Cedars[Sinai Medical Center]and have a bunch of other brain scans,” Kardashian told journalist Robin Roberts.
She assured the public that she was okay and urged viewers to tune in, adding: “Everything will be fine.”
In a previous episode of the reality series, Kardashian suggested that her “mini” aneurysm was caused by the stress of her divorce from Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West.
Kim to retake California bar exam after failing
Earlier this month, Kardashian admitted on her Instagram Story that she did not pass the California Bar Exam in July, which is required to become a lawyer in the state.
She said that since she started her law career six years ago, she has been determined to continue taking exams until she passes.
“Well…I’m not a lawyer yet. I just play a well-dressed lawyer on TV,” he admitted of his new role in Ryan Murphy’s not-so-critically-acclaimed series “All’s Fair.” “I’m still giving it my all until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up. Just learning more and being more determined.”
She continued: “Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me so far. Failing is not failure, it’s energy. I was so close to passing the exam, and that motivated me even more. Let’s go!”
