Kim Cattrall is a married woman.
The 69-year-old “Sex and the City” actress tied the knot with sound engineer Russell Thomas on December 4 in London, People newspaper reported. The couple’s intimate ceremony was held at Chelsea Old Town Hall, with just 12 people in attendance, the newspaper reported.
Cattrall wore a Dior suit with a white tulle skirt and a sophisticated blazer. According to People, she paired the ensemble with Cornelia James gloves and an elaborate Philip Treacy hat. Mr Thomas, 55, wore a custom suit by Richard James.
Cattrall, known for playing the wild and witty Samantha Jones in Sex and the City, met Thomas when she appeared on the BBC in 2016. She told Glamor in 2018 that their relationship took off after he slid into her DMs on X.
“It was very, very modern. It was very easy,” she told the outlet. “He’s a wonderful person.”
Cattrall further gushed about their relationship in a 2020 interview with People, saying that their bond grew stronger because they shared the same birthplace in England.
“I feel very safe with him,” she said. “He’s a firecracker, has a wicked sense of humor, and is easy on the eyes!”
“I love him,” she added. “And he was worth the wait.”
This is Cattrall’s fourth marriage. The actress first married Larry Davis in 1977. Although they divorced a few years later, she married architect Andre J. Lyson in 1982. After divorcing in 1989, she married audio engineer Mark Levinson in 1998 and divorced six years later.
