It was an eventful weekend for the Osborne family in one or more ways.
After Ozzy Osbourne gave a breakup show with Black Sabbath, Kelly Osbourne, 40, of Heavy Metal Icon, revealed that she and her partner, Sid Wilson, are engaged.
The “One Word” singer took her to Instagram on Sunday, July 6th to share a video of Wilson on one knee in front of her parents Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in a room full of people. That moment took place behind the scenes at Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert in Birmingham, England.
In the clip, Wilson took Kelly Osborne’s hand and said she loves her “more than anything in the world,” adding, “nothing will make me happier than spending the rest of my life with you.” He pulls out the ring and he says, “Your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?” She turns around and looks shocked. After she nods, everyone in the room toasts, and the couple hugs.
“Ah, this happened yesterday!” Osborne captioned the video.
Before Wilson officially asks questions, Ozzy Osbourne, who sat behind them, says, “You’re not married to my daughter!”
Osborne and Wilson, members of heavy metal band Slipknot, published their relationship in 2022 and welcomed their child Sidney later that year.
In a sweet Valentine’s Day post in 2022, Osborne shared a photo of herself, and Wilson kissed her, “After 23 years of friendship, I can’t believe it where we’ve finished!
Before sharing engagement news, Osborne thanked fans for attending a concert about his father’s farewell, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.
“It was modest to say yesterday was magic!” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t even write this without crying. I would like to thank everyone who came to support my father. I would like to thank the fans who have nothing to us! My father got his moment in the sun!
