WASHINGTON, Dec 23 (Reuters) – The Justice Department on Tuesday released a trove of new documents from its investigation into the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This latest disclosure comes just days after the Trump administration released a large cache of Epstein files to comply with a new law forcing disclosures on politically charged topics.

The law, which passed overwhelmingly in Congress last month, would have required the disclosure of all Epstein files, even though President Trump had kept them sealed for months.
