Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are 3-0 with their second straight win.
The Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-21 in a “Thursday Night Football” AFC East Tilt. Buffalo lost the Dolphins seven times, including the playoffs.
Allen passed 213 yards and three touchdowns.
The Dolphins tied a matchup in the fourth quarter, but the Bills scored a decisive, go-ahead touchdown after Miami trolled the kicker call. A slow intercept by Tua Tagovailoa sealed off the chance to make a comeback for the dolphins.
The losses dropped Miami 0-3 holes, and they began the regular season, with questions surrounding Tagovailoa, Mike McDaniel and other Miami players and personnel continuing to be asked.
USA Today Sports will offer winners and losers from the AFC East Matchup on Thursday night.
James Cook
The running bill was rushing 19 times for 108 yards and one touchdown. He provided violations up to four quarters. He averaged an impressive 5.7 yards per carry.
Cook tallied eight runs for 73 yards in the first half.
Josh Allen on Thursday night
Allen is 8-0 as he starts quarterback in Thursday’s game.
Allen made Russell Wilson, Duck Prescott and Kirk Cousins sixth fastest in NFL history, reaching 200 career-path touchdowns during the win.
Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 213 yards and added three touchdowns to get a passerby rating of 134.1. It was another night in the Bills Quarterbacks office.
Terrell Bernard gets clutch interception
At the end of the fourth quarter, when Miami was approaching the end zone of the game tying score, Bernard read Tua Tagovailoa’s eyes and stepped in front of the QB’s pass aimed at Jaylen Waddle, successfully stomping the intercept.
Bernard’s pick proved to be the final blow in Miami’s comeback bid.
The bill continues
The invoice has been 3-0 for the second year in a row, and this is the fourth time since 2017. Buffalo has won 13 consecutive regular season home games, the longest active home win streak in the NFL.

Questions are beginning to cycle through the surrounding Tagovailoa positions as a franchise quarterback.
Tagovailoa has got off to a slow start this season. He came in the third week with a passerby rating of 90.6.
The Dolphins quarterback deserves some credit on the touchdown drive that tied the game in the second and fourth quarters, but threw a bad intercept in the fourth quarter when Dolphins threatened to score.
Tagovailoa didn’t make 100 yards until his 26th pass in the evening. He finished with 161 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, earning a passerby rating of 83.2. He averaged 4.6 yards per completion. He was less than four yards per completion for most of the contest.

McDaniel’s team fought hard throughout the game. Dolphins executives certainly take into account the team’s efforts, but McDaniel’s work may be at risk. His seat appears to get hotter with every loss in Miami.
Dolphin Attack
Despite being two of the NFL’s fastest wide receivers, dolphin attacks are not explosive. Although Tua Tagovailoa doesn’t have the strength of the elite arms, in the past Miami attacks have been able to produce explosive plays with creative play designs, intermediate passes and occasional long balls. All of these have not been present throughout the first three weeks of the season.

On the 4th and 7th at 10:20, leaving the fourth quarter, the Dolphins captain made a painful decision when he met Bills punter Cameron Johnston in a desperate attempt to block a punt. Officials trolled the kicker and called Sealer as the penalty extended the Buffalo drive.
The Bills scored a Go-Ahead touchdown after five plays to get a 28-21 lead.
