Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and Haley Steinfeld married in California
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and acclaimed actress Haley Steinfeld officially married each other in California.
No brand – Sports
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen appeared at training camp with his ringer a new ring – Not a Super Bowl ring, but a wedding ring following his wedding to “Sinner” actress Haley Steinfeld on May 31st.
“I’ve got some hardware now so I can go,” Allen said at the bill’s mandatory mini-camp on Tuesday.
The couple, who became Instagram staff in July 2024 after a year of speculation, are well known for being private about their relationship, so no details about Santa Barbara at their California wedding have been shared so far. Steinfeld offered fans to see their big day by sharing “unthinkable” memories and photos in the latest issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter.
“You know, I’m somewhere between the times I want to share all the details and while I want to bring them closer to my heart,” Steinfeld wrote Friday. “But Bo Society felt like the right place to share some of the love and magic that made up a wedding weekend.”
Here are four things we learned about Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding:
A breakfast for two with pancakes on the menu
The bride and groom are traditionally separated from each other before the wedding, but Allen and Steinfeld moved through the goal post and chose an intimate breakfast alone.
“On the morning of our wedding, Josh and I met breakfast just before we were seven,” Steinfeld wrote. “I’m so glad we did that, I don’t think we could have gone all day without seeing him!
Josh Allen “stunned” in Steinfeld’s wedding dress
Steinfeld walked down the aisle wearing a strapless ivory wedding dress designed and tailored by Tamara Ralph. Steinfeld decorated the gown with long, thin gloves, Mikimoto earrings and sleek bread decorated with French Chantilly lace veils. Steinfeld said, “I was stuttered when I got to the altar (Allen),” but pointed out that her wedding day appearance rarely happened.
“We were on the tightest timeline. Six weeks before the wedding, my mother and I flew straight to Paris from the “Sinner” premiere in London for a fitting,” she revealed. “I really had to lean over the whole ‘trust in the process’ and thank God for bringing it together to Rob, Mariel, Tamara and her team in time. On our wedding day, when I wore this dress, I didn’t actually breathe.
Allen wore a Tom Ford tuxedo paired with pleated shirts and black cufflinks. “Josh looked like the man of all the dreams I’d ever had,” Steinfeld gushed.
Who are your guests? Steinfeld said the dress code is “all black black tie” to seamlessly match the “very classic and bold” theme. The wedding was also a “no phone wedding,” which was “one of the best decisions we made.”
They walked down the aisle to this classic song
Steinfeld threw away his wedding bouquet and instead walked down the aisle with one single crystal rose. She, accompanied by her father, Peter Steinfeld, called it an emotional moment.
“I’m extremely proud of us, and it turned into a joke that we cry so hard to walk straight,” she said. “I remember the walk-up looking like a façade. Josh was standing under this huge structure. It was the most surreal thing I’ve ever seen.”
After Allen and Steinfeld said “I will,” the newlyweds left the altar and said “signed, sealed, delivered (I belong to you).” by Stevie Wonder. They also said, “We applauded from the sky where the coolest thing happened after we got married. We left the aisle…and it started thunder. There was no rain. There was no rain.
The bridal party jumped into the pool
Allen and Steinfeld held an underground afterparty to comply with the local healthy ordinance. The party featured a cigar bar, angel margaritas, grilled cheese sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies served with shot glasses of milk. The party didn’t stop until around 3am and they ended it with a bang. The bridal party jumped into the pool (except Steinfeld, who wore feathers) in a tuxedo and dress.
