Justin Timberlake says Lyme disease affected his world tour performances
Singer Justin Timberlake has revealed that he is battling Lyme disease, detailing his symptoms including nerve pain and fatigue.
Justin Timberlake counts his wife of over 10 years, Jessica Biel, among his biggest fans.
“I’m his biggest fan. I feel like I’m with his biggest fan,” Biel told E! News host Justin Sylvester appears on the black carpet at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards on January 4th. “He’s really great live. There’s no one who can perform like him, sing like him, and like him.”
“He brings me so much joy and I don’t care if I look like a crazy person. I’m going to dance as hard as I can for two and a half hours,” she continued. “And I love his music and I don’t care. But let me just say this: I adore him. I love him as an artist and as a performer.”
The “Better Sister” actress’ tirade against her husband began after Sylvester questioned her about a video of her dancing at a Timberlake concert that was released during the 2024-2025 Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
However, the tour was met with backlash from social media. Several of his concerts were canceled or postponed due to health reasons, and some fans criticized the singer for lackluster performances.
In July, he revealed in an Instagram post that he had been diagnosed with Lyme disease, a disease he described as “relentlessly debilitating both mentally and physically.”
Timberlake gave a shout-out to his wife during a Montreal performance in October 2024 to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. He confessed his love to Biel while Biel stood behind the barricade, and the two blew each other a kiss.
The couple, who married in 2012, welcomed their first son, Cyrus, in April 2015, and their second son, Phineas, joined their family five years later.
