Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, which mentions some well-known figures.
Musk, Bannon mentions in the release of Epstein Files
The latest batch of Jeffrey Epsteinfiles mentions notable names like Elon Musk, Steve Bannon and Peter Thiel.
Book a breakfast with Steve Bannon, the leader of Magazine. A planned lunch with billionaire Peter Thiel. Billionaire Elon Musk could potentially come to the “island” and is described as “this is still happening.”
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s real estate on September 26th. This refers to many well-known figures, including Musk, Tiel, Bannon, Prince Andrew, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
“It is clear to all Americans that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful, wealthiest and wealthiest men in the world,” added director’s spokesman Sarah Guerrero.
The six-page document released by the Democrats includes a portion of Epstein’s daily schedules for 2014, 2017 and 2019, a flight manifesto with the names of Epstein and Prince Andrew in 2000, and a ledger listing “Andrew” massages twice. A copy of the ledger that records Epstein’s daily schedule and cash transactions.
The official X-account of the GOP Control Committee accused Democrats of selectively releasing records.
“This is old news,” the committee wrote. “It’s sad that Democrats are modestly withholding documents that include Democrats’ names. Again they’re putting politics on the victims.”
“We’re releasing them all right away,” the committee added a new batch of records.
Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The processing of Trump administration documents related to the Epstein case sparked a fuss, including obtaining records by members of Congress.
James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, issued a subpoena on records related to the Department of Justice Epstein on August 5, after a bipartisan group of lawmakers voted in favor of the measure in July on July 5. The first batch of records was released earlier this month.
On September 8, Democrats released a copy of an obscene birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein. The letter shows Trump’s alleged message to Epstein, whose president’s signature mimics pubic hair and is within the contours of a woman’s body.
Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida court in 2008, each counting each to solicit prostitutes for prostitution. He served in prison for 13 months and registered as a sex offender. He was arrested again in 2019 on sex trafficking charges.
Records released by Democrats on September 26 show that Epstein had a “tentative breakfast” scheduled for December 5, 2014 at the gate. It also shows the 7am breakfast scheduled for February 16th, 2019 with Bannon and the noon lunch scheduled for November 27th, 2017 with Thiel.
Bannon was the White House chief strategist early in Trump’s first term. Thiel, co-founder of PayPal, has donated to conservative causes, including Vice President JD Vance’s significant contribution to the US Senate race in 2022.
Under the date December 6, 2014, Epstein’s schedule states:
Bannon, Musk and Tiel did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Gates and Prince Andrew say they regret spending time with Epstein.
Prince Andrew left his royal duties in 2019 amid fallout from his relationship with Epstein. His reputation was hurt by a sexual abuse lawsuit filed by Virginia Roberts Giuffre. The sexual abuse lawsuit was settled in February 2022 for unpublished totals and “substantial donations” to Giuffre charities. Andrew denied Giuffre’s allegations.
Musk spent about $290 million to help Trump win in 2024 and help the president and Republicans get elected. He appeared to be reconciliated recently, but before he dropped out he became one of Trump’s closest advisers in the early days of his second administration.
In June, Musk “drops a really big bomb” on social media as he was rebutting Trump.
Musk in a June 5 post said Trump, “It’s on Epstein’s files. That’s the real reason they’re not public. Have a good day, DJT!”
Epstein owned a small private island in the US Virgin Islands, where sex trafficking of young girls was said to have occurred. In January 2020, prosecutors in the Virgin Islands filed a lawsuit against Epstein’s property, alleging that a criminal enterprise had been committed on his property, including sexual abuse of a young girl. The property settled a lawsuit in the US Virgin Islands for $105 million in December 2022.
Questions surrounding island visitors were a recurring theme of the Epstein Saga.
“I refused because I didn’t have the privilege of going to his island, but many people in Palm Beach were invited to his island,” Trump said on July 28th.
