Elon Muskv. The Donald Trump feud seems to be just as fast as it began.
Shortly after Musk left his official role at the White House at the end of May, he launched a full “Bill the Bill” campaign against Trump’s massive tax and domestic policy bill. The difference with Trump signaled his support for Trump’s bounce-each, accusing him of being involved in the now-deleted X post of sex traffic Jeffrey Epstein of his late child.
During the round-trip, Trump said Musk had asked him to leave the White House, suggesting that the federal government might end his contract with Musk.
However, on June 11th, Musk posted to X. “I regret some of my posts about President @RealdonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”
But with this in mind, it all started with a key Trump law called “the big beautiful bill” by supporters, is he still opposed to it? Here’s what we know:
Does Elon Musk support the “big beautiful bill”?
He has not yet changed the bill’s songs publicly at least.
Musk began to oppose the law because he says it’s called “nasty hatred.” Musk removed some of his more inflammatory posts about Trump, but as of the afternoon of June 11th, some posts about killing the bill are still alive.
“And the big, ugly spending bill would make things even worse,” Musk said in a June 5 post. Images from the “Kilville” movie have still been posted on Mask’s profile since June 4th.
More recently, however, Musk has posted about Tesla’s Lobotakshi, expressing his support for Trump deploying the National Guard to counter the protests that erupted in response to the administration’s ice attack.
USA Today has contacted Tesla about Musk’s current stance on the bill.
What did Trump say about Mask’s apology?
Trump appears to be ready to put the spat behind him.
“Look, I don’t have any difficult feelings,” Trump told New York postcolumnist Miranda Devine. “I was really surprised that it happened. He chased the incredible bill. …I think he feels very badly that he actually said it.”
He also said that although he may be able to return to his regular relationship with Musk, he was focused on the country’s operations.
Trump told the New York Post that Musk posted on June 11, “It’s so lovely.”
