U.S. employment growth beats expectations, with unemployment falling to 4.1%
U.S. employment growth was strong in June, but the unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 4.1%.

Most of the jobs being cut are within the US and R&D, growth, and people and sustainability teams, but reductions range across all functions and several countries, the memo said.
Certainly, Glassdoor’s integrated strategy
The company said the operation of the employment and company review site Glassdoor will actually be integrated into the job search site, adding that Glassdoor CEO Christian Sutherlandwon left the company on October 1st.
Also departing: It is actually Lafawn Davis, the chief operating officer of Recruit, Lafawn Davis, who resigns on September 1st and will take over.
The economic impact of job cuts is “already largely incorporated” into the outlook for the remaining year of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company said.
