President Trump comments on former Prince Andrew’s arrest
Asked about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest, President Donald Trump said it was “shameful”.
President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver the first State of the Union address of his second administration on Tuesday, February 24, laying out his agenda under mounting political pressure as midterm elections approach and voters show deep dissatisfaction in national polls. President Trump addressed a joint session of Congress last March, but his speech was not officially considered a State of the Union. It is common for presidents to give an early speech in their first year in office outlining their priorities, with formal State of the Union addresses beginning in subsequent years.
What makes this year’s State of the Union address appropriate is that it came after President Trump received a formal invitation from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), who praised his leadership and said the country is “stronger, freer and more prosperous.”
