The new Millionaire for Life lottery game had its first drawing on Sunday, February 22nd, and ended with no winners in more than 20 states.

The winning numbers for the first ever lottery were 1-30-48-54-58 millionaire ball 4.

The new game was announced on January 15 by the Multistate Lottery Association (MUSL), which also operates Powerball, Loto America, and other national lottery games.

“Millionaire for Life offers premier ‘for life’ prizes that players, especially young players, are attracted to,” Tom Seaver, chairman and senior director of the Colorado Lottery’s Millionaire for Life product group, said in a statement.

Here’s what you need to know about the new lottery game.

How is the Millionaire for Life game played?

According to the Montana and Wyoming Lotteries, Millionaire for Life is played using two sets of numbers, similar to Powerball and Mega Millions. Players select five numbers from 1 to 58 in the first pool and one number from 1 to 5 in the second pool, known as the Millionaire Ball. In each drawing, five numbers are drawn from the first pool and one millionaire ball number is drawn from the second pool.

If you match all five numbers with the Millionaire Ball, you’ll win the top prize of $1 million a year for life. Just match five key numbers and you’ll be awarded $100,000 a year for life.

When is the drawing for the Millionaire for Life game?

According to MUSL, ticket prices for Millionaire for Life are $5 and drawings will be held daily at 11:15pm ET.
