What’s next for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs?
Joe Rivera and Chris Bumbaka shed light on Patrick Mahomes’ torn ACL and look ahead to the KC organization’s future.
It doesn’t matter which NFL fans are on the “naughty list” and which ones are on the “nice list.” This Christmas, everyone will receive three gifts from the NFL.
For the sixth year in a row, the league is offering fans a chance to watch pro football during the holiday season while wearing Santa suits. This season marks the third time in the last four years that a Christmas tripleheader has been held, with last year’s Wednesday doubleheader being the only exception since 2022.
For the first time since the league adopted the annual tradition in 2020, all Christmas games will be divisional matchups. Some have higher stakes than others.
Here are the games taking place on December 25th this year and how to watch each one.
How many NFL games are there on Christmas? 2025 Holiday Schedule
There are three games this Christmas:
The first matchup of the day will be a regional battle between two teams that have already been eliminated from playoff contention. The Cowboys and Commanders have nothing to play for except pride and draft position in their second head-to-head matchup of the year. Dallas won Game 1 at home on October 19, 44-22.
The two later Christmas matchups are also divisional matchups. The mid-afternoon game is the second and final game to be streamed on Netflix this holiday season, and will feature a Lions team fighting for a playoff spot visiting a Vikings team that has already been eliminated from contention.
If you heard before the season that the final Christmas game would include a team fighting for the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a team already eliminated, you might have guessed that the Chiefs would be the former and the Broncos the latter. In fact, the opposite is true. Denver will be one win away from clinching first place in the AFC with a win over the reigning conference champions on Christmas Day.
