Hoda Kotb will return to the fourth hour of “Today” for just one day.
Fan favorites for the Morning Show join former co-host Jenna Bush Hager on Tuesday, May 28th to debut new wellness company and co-host Jenna and Friends.
“Surprising! The show’s official Instagram page has been posted.
Bush Hager previously teased the news on the May 22nd broadcast, giving viewers clues about the mystery guest co-host. “Who is that? No one knows.”
A 2018 article in the “Making Space” podcast host’s hometown newspaper said she was written in high school basketball. Kotb has written several books, including “I really need this today,” “I Love You forever,” and “This Just Salks To Me.”
After finishing “Today” in January, KOTB returned to the morning show in March to promote her next book, “Jump and Find Joy: Rembracing The Change in Life of Life.” She returned from the “Today” franchise and focused on her motherly life with her two young daughters, Haley and Hope.
On April 28th, the month before its release, Kotb posted an Instagram video to celebrate the month before the wellness company arrived. “I’m bursting, and I can’t wait to share it with you,” Kotb told fans, adding that she’s “very excited” about her talked about project.
KOTB announced its departure from “Today” in late September, and later told the morning show audience that her final day will be January 10th.
On her last day on “Today,” Kotb told fans in her final message, “This is not a goodbye letter, this is a love letter.”
She was replaced by Craig Melvin in the first two hours of “Today.” Craig Melvin now co-hoses the opposite show from Savannah Guthrie and continues to host the third hour of “Today” opposite Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer and Schoenell Jones. Jones has been away since December amid her late husband, Uuche Ogier’s brain cancer battle.
