Take Metroflu at Universal Orlando’s Ministry of Magic
Universal Orlando’s epic Universe Theme Park allows fans to make Paris magical in the 1920s to realize a magical iconic ministry.
There’s a new Harry Potter.
HBO cast three newcomers in the roles of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
Producers Francesca Gardiner and Mark Myrod said the iconic casting decision followed “an extraordinary search.”
“The talents of these three unique actors are hard to see and we cannot wait for the world to witness the magic together on screen,” they said in a statement. “We want to thank the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It was a real joy to discover the richness of the young talent there.”
“Harry Potter” TV show cast: Arabella Stanton, Alastair Stout, Dominic McLaughlin
Dominique McLaughlin will play Harry, while Arabella Stanton will play Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will play Ron Weasley. In addition to the announcement, HBO has released photos of the three actors posing leaning against the grass.
The studio previously issued a casting call for Parts’ actors between the ages of 9 and 11.
HBO’s “Harry Potter” series became a new adaptation of the original book by JK Rowling, becoming a hit film series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. Rowling is the show’s executive producer.
The series previously cast some of its supportive roles. John Lithgow will be playing Nick Frost, who stars as Hagrid, and Paapa Essiedo, who plays Snape. No one has yet to be announced to play Volde Mort, the inclusive villain of the series portrayed in the Ralph Fiennes film. Fiennes himself supports the idea that Cillian Murphy will win the role.
When the “Harry Potter” series was announced in 2023, Rowling said HBO Max’s “commitment to maintaining the integrity of my book is important to me,” adding that she “looks forward to being part of this new adaptation that allows for the depth and details that can only be obtained by a long form television series.”
