Dessert or dip?
Great Wolf Lodge, one of the most popular family resorts in the United States, has announced a limited time lunch milkshake.
The new “sweet and tangy” product will be available for $3.10 at any resort location from March 5th to May 20th.
The shake is “blended with vanilla ice cream and ranch dressing and served with crispy chicken, carrots, celery, whipped cream and a sweet and salty lime rim,” according to a news release.
Great Wolf Lodge’s new milkshakes are being released in honor of National Ranching Day, which is recognized on March 10th.
‘You’re just wasting food in the kitchen’: Internet reacts to lunch milkshake
Great Wolf Lodge’s concoction sparked a strong reaction from people on social media.
“This is not right and I’m genuinely annoyed,” one person responded on X (formerly Twitter). Another user added: “That’s wrong on every level of time and space.”
“I’m getting ready to throw up now,” one person wrote, while Great Wolf Lodge responded with a laughing emoji: “That’s what a ranch shake will do. The atmosphere alone is enough to make your stomach flip.”
When someone asked “why?” the resort spoke up again. “Honestly, the shaking feels like chaos in a cup. ‘Why?!'” That’s the only correct response. ”
Even R&B legend Dionne Warwick commented on a post that mentioned milkshakes: “You’re just wasting food in your kitchen.”
Other companies have developed desserts using this popular condiment in the past. In 2023, Hidden Valley Ranch launched an ice cream flavor.
