Indiana Fever superstar Kate Linklark is set to make her return to the highly anticipated court.
Clark was allowed to return to the lineup after a left quad injury kept her on the sidelines in five games, officially finishing her longest stretch due to injuries in college and WNBA careers. The fever was announced on the team’s social media accounts on Friday, June 13th.
Clark suffered a quad injury on May 24 when he was defeated by New York Liberty with 90-88 fever. She was initially ruled out for at least two weeks and set up a tentative return to Atlanta’s dream on June 10th, but ultimately Fever decided to pay attention to the 2024 WNBA Rookie of Year.
Now Clark is ready to play. She will host Fever on June 14th and host Champion Liberty. Indiana regained the leader with a score (19 points per game) and assisted (9.3). Assistances for each game lead the league.
Fever was 2-3 in Clark’s absence and was in a match against New York this season.

Clark is sure she suffered from left quadruped tension during the loss of fever to freedom on May 24th – She scored a double double with 18 points and 10 assists. – However, she cannot identify the specific play that caused the injury. She just knows that it happened early in the contest.
“Obviously, adrenaline covers a lot of things in the heat of the battle,” Clark said Thursday. “And after the game I felt some pain and then we got an MRI, and such kind gave me results that I didn’t want to see.
On June 5th, Clark said she recovered and “has made a lot of progress” and “it feels good.” However, Starguard said that despite the inpatients who will return to court, “If it’s not worth it, you won’t hurry back.” She described her status as “daily” and said she would be re-evaluated.

Although Clark was unable to attend court, the Iowa alumni keep themselves busy and engaged with the team. She is a vocal leader on the bench and is tapped by “coaching-like thinking,” Fever coach Stephanie White previously said to hone and hone her skills.
Clark also cheered on her NBA counterpart, the Indiana Pacers, in the NBA Finals alongside her fever teammates. She took part in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, where the Pacers’ Game 6 won the Knicks and won the Eastern Conference Finals at Gainbridge Field House in Indianapolis.
