Kash Patel commented on the ongoing investigation into Charlie Kirk’s murder and closed it down with a farewell message to Kirk.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced that it had ended its opposition partnership at the bureau, saying he disliked former FBI Director James Comey approving comments about the Jewish advocacy group.
“James Comey wrote a ‘love letter’ to ADL and wrote with them FBI agents with embedded FBI agents,” Patel claimed in an October 1 post on X. He accused Americans of spying without providing specific details.
The anti-defense league, which describes itself as the “world’s leading anti-hate organization” with a mission to stop Jewish honor and ensure justice for everyone, said it “has deeply respected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and law enforcement officials at all levels across the country.”
“In light of the unprecedented surge in anti-Semitism, we are more committed than ever to our core purpose of protecting Jews,” the league said.
In a self-proclaimed “love letter” to the league in 2014, Comey praised her work on a variety of issues, including anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim prejudice, and the threat of terrorists.
“In most cases, domestic extremists are careful to maintain their actions within the scope of constitutional protection,” Comey said while speaking at the league’s national leadership summit in Washington, D.C. that year.
“You help our police. You know well that in your heartbeat, your hateful speech, you can even become fatal and fatal. Hatefulness becomes a hate crime,” he added.
The praise of the organization from those who have been President Donald Trump’s target since 2017 seems to have hurt it now.
Trump fired then FBI director Comey in 2017. This is because the bureau was investigating contacts between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Russian government. Recently, Trump said on social media that Comey should be indicted and that he has replaced a longtime prosecutor who has reportedly concluded that there is no sufficient evidence to support the case against Comey.
On September 25th, Trump’s former personal attorney, Lindsay Harrigan, has never filed a lawsuit before, but secured a charge in the big ju trial accusing Comey of lying to Congress. In a video statement, Comey said he was innocent and would fight the accusations in court.
The Prevention Disability League has recently been criticized by Republicans because it included Turning Point USA, founded by recently murdered conservative youth leader Charlie Kirk. According to Fox News, the league removed the entire glossary following the backlash.
Although the league has described it on university campuses as “surges in anti-Semitism and alienation,” it has been an outspoken critic in recent years. That view is reflected by multiple initiatives of the current Trump administration, including the Department of Justice task force.
