RFK shakes the vaccine again

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took another step towards an overhaul of the country’s vaccine policy when he approved the removal of Thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative, and approved the safety of preservatives in the medical community from all flu vaccines. Kennedy approved a recommendation from the Advisory Committee on Vaccination Practices, which he replaced with members appointed in June.

Melania’s opera honor

Republican lawmakers are working on their own productions for the Kennedy Center. The Center’s Opera House has been renamed “First Lady Melania Trump Opera House.” The House Budget Committee, whose spending bill funds Washington’s iconic performing arts venue, voted 33-25 for the change. Lawmakers have already agreed to spend $256.7 million on improving the center that President Donald Trump is looking for. He criticized some of the center’s performances and said on one visit he didn’t really like ‘Hamilton’.

A sweet twist on the cola war

Cane Sugar: It’s real. Coca-Cola made from cane sugar – not high fructose corn syrup, but coming to the US this fall, the company announced its coke found overseas, including Mexico. (Long-term debate that tastes better, US cola or Mexican cola was intense). This news is not a surprise to the competition. President Donald Trump was insisting on cane sugar coke on social media in mid-July – “You see. It’s just good!” And to not lose, Pepsi announced that it will launch Pepsi’s prebiotic cola this fall, with original cola and cherry vanilla containing 5 grams of sugar cane sugar and 3 grams of prebiotic fiber.

Ozzy Osbourne’s “Prince of Darkness” dies at 76

The heavy metal icon and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame left his mark in a 60-year music career.

Ozzy Osbourne, the “Prince of Darkness” is dead

The world of heavy metal has lost one of the most beloved characters at the age of 76, Ozzy Osbourne. In the hard living room (and to bite the head from a bat) Osborne, the infamous Osborne exploded into stardom in his solo career, and later forked into MTV’s “Osborne” and reality television in the early 2000s. In 2020, he revealed he had Parkinson’s disease. In his new memoir, “The Last Ritual,” which just arrived on October 7th, Osborne states:

All bets for 2026 are on Scotty Scheffler

Scotty Scheffler, who won the British Open on July 20th, is at the top of his game. You can expect him to be there for a while. Schaeffler, 29, is in need of an open US victory to join the elite group golfer group, who won the PGA Championship in May and has now won the grand slams of all four major championships, but according to BetMGM, he is an odds-on favorite to win all majors in 2026. We have declared Matt Wall, a gaming venture. “The comparison with Tiger Woods certainly isn’t out of place right now.” – Edited by Robert Abitbol
