Erica Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, will give her first television interview since her husband was shot and killed in September.

FOX News will announce on Monday, Oct. 27, that the wife of the slain conservative activist will participate in an interview with the station’s prime-time anchor Jesse Watters, scheduled to air next week on Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

The mother of two took over the reins of her husband’s group, Turning Point USA, a week after he was shot and killed by a lone gunman in Utah on September 10th. Watters and Kirk will likely touch on a number of issues, including the timeline of events on the day her husband died and the future of Turning Point.

Watters will join Kirk at Turning Point’s headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, and at the “This Is the Turning Point” tour destination on October 29 at the University of Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss, in Oxford, Mississippi.

At the Mississippi event, Vice President J.D. Vance will be introduced by Kirk, then debate students and answer questions in the same style as Kirk’s husband. The live event will be streamed on Fox’s streaming service, Fox Nation.

Since her husband’s death, Kirk has remained out of public view, experiencing a mixture of grief and the struggle of her public job. Still, she has been largely absent, apart from accepting her husband’s Medal of Freedom from President Donald Trump at a White House ceremony on October 14th and addressing the American people at a memorial service on September 21st.

She also addressed the nation in a live broadcast on September 12, two days after her husband’s death.

Turning Point USA was founded by 18-year-old Kirk in 2012 and has since become a prominent force in conservative politics. The organization has a presence on hundreds of college and high school campuses, hosts conferences, encourages young people to organize around conservative issues, and produces a variety of media, including the podcast “The Charlie Kirk Show.”

The group and Kirk are said to have worked closely with the MAGA movement and helped mobilize support for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
