WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump is under attack after defending his administration’s handling of disclosures regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case.

In a lawsuit filed on July 18, Trump is seeking $10 billion in damages for the publication of a Wall Street Journal article, and said the future president wrote an indecent letter to Epstein on his 50th birthday.

“We have just filed a great power lawsuit against anyone involved in publishing “useless “shattered,” or “fake news,” in the Wall Street Journal, “fake news,” “fake news,” articles,” Trump wrote on social media.

He filed the lawsuit the day after he directed Attorney General Pam Bondy to produce more Epstein documents in the public cry of the records – the charming Trump said he didn’t understand what he called a “pretty boring” incident.

And on July 19, Trump doubted that upcoming record releases would satisfy his critics.

“It’s always more, more, more,” Trump told social media.

Here’s what you need to know about Trump’s latest developments in the dealings of embarrassing financiers and convicted sex offenders who died in a Manhattan prison in 2019, awaiting federal sex trafficking trials.

What does Trump want?

Trump is seeking $10 billion in damages from the parent company, owner and two reporters who claim honorable lib and slander.

According to Reuters, the $10 billion award in recent history will far outweigh the biggest honour and settlement in recent history.

To win, Trump must prove that the Wall Street Journal acted in 1964, which acted on “actual malicious” set by the Supreme Court.

The court in March refused to appeal from top Republican donors and former casino tycoon Steve Wynn, asking the court to overturn the ruling.

What did the Wall Street Journal report?

In a story released on July 17, IST was part of a leather-bound birthday book that described a letter written by the journal from Trump and contained dozens of other letters presented to Epstein in 2003. Trump’s letter ends with “Happy Birthday.”

According to the journal, the Trump signature, written in the form of text within the hand-drawn outline of a naked woman, is written in the hand-drawn outline of a naked woman, “Donald” beneath the waist, mimicking pubic hair.”

How did the Wall Street Journal respond to Trump’s lawsuit?

A Dow Jones spokesperson said on July 18 that the Wall Street Journal would endure the story. “We are completely confident in the strictness and accuracy of our reporting and will strongly defend any lawsuit,” the spokesman said.

What new Epstein files does Trump want to release?

After Trump instructed Bondi to prepare more Epstein documents on July 17, federal prosecutors followed up a motion filed in federal court in Manhattan on July 18 to establish a major ju court transcript in a criminal case against Epstein and his former associate Githlane Maxwell.

“Based on the outrageous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I asked Attorney General Pam Bondy to generate all relevant large ju court testimony, subject to court approval,” Trump wrote on social media.

Epstein’s federal sex trafficking case was still pending when it was found dead in prison in 2019.

It was partially troublesome for Trump after his Justice Department released the memo on July 7th. He said that Epstein’s further disclosures were not justified. However, it is not clear which parts of the government’s Epstein file are being addressed by its testimony.

When will new information be released?

It may take some time for the court to release the records, and the large juice documents are only part of an unpublished file.

“How about video, photos and other recordings?” Democrat Daniel Goldman, a former prosecutor, wrote on social media in response to Bondi, saying he was seeking the release of the testimony of the Great Juice. “What about the FBI… (an interview with an eyewitness)? What about texts and emails?”

Meanwhile, Congress is also considering another, non-binding solution that calls for the release of Epstein records. The House Rules Committee proceeded with the resolution in a partisan vote on July 17th. Democrats opposed the measure because it was not binding.

What information about Epstein released previously?

Trump previously accused the Biden administration of hiding Epstein’s client list.

The Justice Department teased that more files would come out, but then on July 7th, Bondi said there was no client list and no further disclosure needed.

It led to a wave of backlash from Trump’s Maga base.

What was Trump’s relationship with Epstein?

His relationship with Trump with Epstein, which he socially knew, drove him out since his first term. In 2019, Trump said he “falls out” with Epstein, which he described as a “palm beach fixture” in the mid-2000s.

Trump hasn’t explained why, but the 2019 Washington Post story explains the power struggles that two men had over the Oceanfront Palm Beach Mansion that year.

In 2022, Trump called Epstein a “great man.”

“He’s so much fun being with him,” Trump told New York Magazine. “He likes beautiful women just like me, and it’s been said that many of them are on the younger side.”

Is the Trumps in the Epstein Files?

Trump has already appeared in Epstein’s crime legal documents, but it’s not a way to imply him.

In the 1990s, Trump rode an aircraft owned by Epstein, according to flight logs released in two lawsuits. But that was over 30 years ago.

Palm Beach County State Attorney’s documents featured images of message pad communications seized during a Palm Beach police search, but it is just Trump’s name and phone number.
