Several people were shot dead at a church and set fire to the fire on Sunday morning, September 28th in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
The drone video captured the aftermath of a brave morning shooting and arson attack at a Michigan church on Sunday, September 28th.
Officials say the 40-year-old gunman fired on hundreds of worshipers after he plunged into a truck with two American flags at the Latter-day Saints Church of Jesus Christ in Grand Blanc, a suburb of Flint.
The assailants then used gasoline to burn the building. He was killed in a shootout, officials said.
The video shows the rest of the building being fired, with black smoke swirling into the sky above.
Emergency vehicles are surrounded not only with crime scenes, but also with state troopers and other law enforcement officials. Check out the top footage of the story.
Police continue to search for more church attack victims
The two were fatally shot dead in the attack, and the other two bodies were found hours later in the debris of the destroyed building.
The person’s shots were in danger and the other seven were listed as stable, authorities said.
Authorities have identified the suspected shooting and arson, 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford of Burton.
As of Monday, September 29th, police continued to investigate the attack as they were searching for more casualties in the ashes and ruins of the church. Authorities called the attack “act of targeted violence.”
