Biden will be speaking publicly for the first time since cancer diagnosis
Former President Joe Biden gave his first public speech at an anniversary event in Delaware since the cancer diagnosis was announced.
President Donald Trump has mistakenly re-shared the report that former President Joe Biden was “executed in 2020” amid other false allegations.
False claims made by another user, Trump reposted on May 31, also included the fact that “Clone Doubles and Robot Engineering Soulless Mind Entities” were subsequently replaced by former commander.
Biden was not executed and he is still alive today. He served in the White House for four years from 2021 to 2025. He searched for a second term as president before ending the campaign last summer after a bomb debate against Trump.
In May, Biden shared that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer that had spread to the bone. The former president says he is “optimistic” about his illness treatment plan.
“Hopes can beat this,” Biden told reporters at an event in his hometown of Delaware.
Biden has also not been cloned, as the original truth social post suggested. USA Today has contacted the White House for further details about Trump’s repost.
The president’s comments say that after White House press chief Caroline Leavitt called on former First Lady Jill Biden to talk about her husband’s alleged mental decline, she conspired to maintain her husband’s health from the American people.
Trump previously targeted his former president with false theories. For years leading up to his first White House term, Trump promoted unfounded claims that former President Barack Obama was born outside the United States.
The 45th and 47th presidents publicly confirmed for the first time that Obama was born in the United States two months before the 2016 election.
