Donald Trump and “Fafo” will return in January. Heggs took it home

Date:

Donald Trump’s presidency has several acronyms.

Of course, the Maga stands for “Make America Great Again” and is sometimes changed for other initiatives such as “Make America Healthy” and “Maha.”

But all of the popular acronyms are not being played by Trump this year. “Taco” was created by Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong, and described how some investors predict market rebound amid Trump’s repeated tariff policies. (“Trump always drives out chickens.”) The government’s efficiency department has also been reduced to doge. This is the same name as the popular meme that became Memecoin supported by Elon Musk.

“FAFO” has also appeared several times throughout the presidency, what does that mean?

What does “fafo” mean?

FAFO abbreviates “f —Please check with others.”

It is often used as a warning that if someone is acting inappropriately they will face consequences. This phrase has been used outside of politics long before the Trump administration.

How do you use “FAFO” in (political) statements?

Pete Hegses, head of the newly created “The Department of War,” previously the Department of Defense, used the term in a recent meeting with hundreds of military commanders.

“If our enemies foolishly chose to challenge us, they would be crushed by the violence, accuracy and ferociousness of the war department,” Heggs said on September 30.

Musk recently posted a fake photo of Trump’s spelling “Fafo” and “Cool Shell Formation Found on Beach Walk.” Posted on the day former FBI director James Comey was indicted by the Department of Justice and there was a clear nod to Comey’s post on social media at the beach earlier this year, with “8647.”

Trump used “FAFO” in images generated by his own AI in January amid the potential tensions of the trade war with Colombia. The United States and Colombia were engaged in deportation showdowns.
