UFC Legend John Jones joins the UFC White House card
John Jones is a VMA presenter and before the event he shared his hopes of joining the highly anticipated White House card.
Imagining the UFC event scheduled for next summer at the White House will no longer depend on imagination.
UFC CEO Dana White provided Fox News with renderings of the event during an interview that corresponds to Sneak Peak. One image shows the White House in the background, and a huge octagon where competitors fight in the foreground (15,000 pounds per white).
White, speaking to Bret Baier on September 19th, in a “special report” on Fox News Channel, “…My vision for this is to have this big arch in the lighting grid, so you can see.
White said that under 5,000 people will sit in the area, but the rendering is in another area, with White holding tens of thousands more.
“Yeah, we can fit 85,000 people,” White told Baier. And people will bring blankets and you know, you can lie down and watch the fight.
“We’re holding screens everywhere for everyone. We’re literally going to take over Washington, DC. We’re going to weigh in. …That’s what we’re talking about. Yeah, and we’re going to hold fan events all week.
