Super Bowl Sunday is just around the corner, and Dairy Queen is preparing new party plates and a “spicy” menu.
In a social media post, Dairy Queen teamed up with New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor and Chicago Bears running back D’Andre Swift to promote the fast food chain’s Taylor & Swift Halftime Feast (a play on rumors that pop star Taylor Swift would appear at the Super Bowl halftime show). Swift cleared the air last year that she had no plans to perform at a football game.
The “Halftime Feast” is actually Dairy Queen’s all-new Chicken Strip Party Platter, which for the first time offers party-sized chicken strips, served with Dairy Queen’s iconic vanilla soft serve for dipping. As part of the promotion, customers can enter Dairy Queen sweepstakes to win a $100 Dairy Queen gift card through February 9th. See below for more details.
In addition to party platters, Dairy Queen has also introduced a Swicy menu that includes new spicy chicken strips and two new drinks. Popular on social media, “spicy” refers to a combination of both sweet and savory flavors, like hot honey.
What’s on Dairy Queen’s Spicy Menu?
Available for a limited time, Dairy Queen’s new Swicy menu features:
- Flamethrower Chicken Strip Basket: 4 crispy white meat chicken strips, served with dip, fries and vanilla soft serve for Texas toast
- Pineapple Lemonade with Tajin DQ Cooler: Misty slush using soft serve ice cream
- Pineapple Lemonade with Tagine DQ Sparkler: sparkling water served over ice
What is the Dairy Queen’s Chicken Strip Party Platter?
Dairy Queen’s all-new Chicken Strip Party Platters are available in quantities of 25, 50, 75, and 100 pieces. Customers can order the fast-food chain’s original chicken strips, the new Flamethrower strips, or a combination of both. The Chicken Strip Party Platter can be ordered on the DQ mobile app.
How to enter Dairy Queen’s Halftime Feast Sweepstakes
Dairy Queen is giving away 60 $100 gift cards as part of its Super Bowl Sweepstakes.
Until Monday, February 9th at 11:59pm ET, customers can enter Dairy Queen’s Halftime Feast Sweepstakes in one of three ways:
- Instagram: Follow Dairy Queen on Instagram, comment on Dairy Queen’s pinned post about the sweepstakes, and tag another user in the comment.
- TikTok: Follow Diary Queen on TikTok, comment on pinned videos about the sweepstakes, and tag another user in the comment.
- Email: Please send an email to halftimefeast@kpicentral.com with your first and last name, zip code, and phone number.
Winners will be randomly drawn on or about February 11th and winners will be notified by message on Instagram or TikTok, or by phone if entered via email.
