Crumbl Cookies wants to “lighten the burden” with sweet treats.
Days after debuting its cookie collection with lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart, Crumble has announced that it will be giving away free cookie sleeves at stores nationwide for a limited time until Thursday, November 6th.
“Life is tough for many people right now, even here at Crumbl,” Crumbl CEO Jason McGowan said in a statement. “The burden is heavier than most people realize, but sometimes a small act of kindness can make your day feel a little lighter.”
In addition to the cookie giveaway, McGowan and his wife, Whitney, are donating $1 million to launch a new foundation to “start the movement to eliminate school lunch debt for children in our community.”
“We know that cookies don’t solve everything. For some people, they may not solve anything,” McGowan added. “But our hope is that everyone feels noticed and loved, even if just for a moment. I’m so proud of our franchise partners and bakeries for helping make this small act of kindness possible for Crumble customers.”
The chocolate chip cookie thin, which will be available for free for a limited time, is one of seven desserts that combine “exquisite flavor, texture and presentation in true Martha fashion,” according to a news release from Crumbl Cookies.
“From November 3rd to 8th, Martha will take over Crumble’s entire menu, offering a lineup of desserts that blend Martha’s signature sophistication with Crumble’s playful creativity,” Crumble Cookies said in a news release.
