The cracker barrel returns to its original logo after backlash
The cracker barrel said it’s back to its classic design with a new logo x after the backlash.
Cracker Barrel gives customers the opportunity to indulge in “beloved pancakes” and has a $5 all-you-can-eat deal on Pancake Day nationwide.
“In honor of National Pancake Day on Friday, September 26th, guests will win $5 grazing pancakes when they eat at more than 660 restaurants in Cracker Barrel,” the company said in a news release.
Meanwhile, members of Cracker Barrel’s Free Loyalty Program will be able to access early and earn this deal from September 25th.
Cracker Barrel says that the pancakes are “known for their crisp edges and attractively fluffy textures,” and that they “are freshly mixed every morning and slipping down to order.”
“It was a tradition-based recipe that was perfected over time,” Cracker Barrel said of the pancakes, saying, “Guests from across generations began to crave them.
More free pancakes in October
For those who can’t indulge in “This Week’s Pancake Bliss,” Cracker Barrel says it “accepts its role as an informal sponsor of Pancake Blocks.”
“To celebrate, Cracker Barrel has worked with Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Quen Tunnelson, and fans who wear their favorite team jerseys and bring in a valid same-day ticket stub for big names can win a freeside for Antri’s purchase,” the company said.
Cracker Barrel Faces Traffic Slump After Logo Drama
Cracker Barrel recently ruled the headline after changing its logo, and even President Donald Trump put a lot of emphasis on debate.
Following the fiasco, the leader said he hopes for poor traffic at the restaurant for the remainder of 2025.
Traffic fell by about 1% in early August, Chief Financial Officer Craig Penmelis said in a call from investors following his fourth quarter earnings report on September 17.
Since August 19, the date of the official logo change, traffic has dropped by about 8%, he continued. The company is expected to see another 7% to 8% decline if the same trend continues. Total quarterly revenue was $868 million, up 4.4%.
Cracker barrels returned to the “old timer” logo after protest
Cracker Barrel president and CEO Julie Masino said the company worked quickly to quickly revise the original logo change. In August, the company changed its logo to one without a man.
The change was filled with extensive public protests from cracker barrel fans.
“We would like to thank our guests for sharing their voices and their passion for cracker barrels over the last few weeks,” Messino said in writing. “We listen, go back to the ‘Old Timer’ logo, pause with a modification, and put more emphasis on the kitchen and other areas that improve the guest experience. ”
Cracker Barrel is currently working on further investments in public relations and marketing, and the company is ready to handle the impact of tariffs, Penmelis said. Two additional stores are also scheduled to open in 2025, but the company did not provide any information on where the location is.
“There’s been a lot of optimism going forward, and our team is focused on returning to the momentum that created last fiscal year,” Mayno said.
