Costco recalls sparkling wines about concerns that bottles could be crushed even if they weren’t “processed or used.”
The recall is from Kirkland’s signature Prosecco Vald Viaden product. According to the store, the bottles were on sale from April 25th to August 26th, 2025.
The recalled bottle is identified by item number 1879870.

What should I do if I buy a recalled wine?
For customers who have recalled bottles, Costco recommends that they dispose of the bottle immediately by wrapping it in a paper towel and plastic bag before throwing it in a trash can.
Costco says people should take those steps to avoid the spread of broken glass in the trash cans. Customers who receive the recall letter are entitled to a refund without returning a bottle of wine to the store.

Costco sold snacks between May 1st and August 29th, and according to the Rolling Pin Baking Company, the allergen statement printed on the snack package lists the wrong allergens.
