According to the White House, “floods” of ice agents are coming to Democrat-run cities
White House border emperor Tom Homan said Americans living in so-called “sanctuary cities” could soon be expected to see far more immigrant agents on the streets. Earlier this month, Congress gave the Trump administration more than $170 billion over the next four years, dramatically expanding enforcement, detention and deportation. The federal spending plan funds 10,000 new immigrants and customs enforcement agents, among other things, to implement Trump’s plan to deport one million people each year. Immigration advocates have criticized the expansion of large-scale funding that has not undergone radical reforms to the country’s immigration process.
“Maize sweat” will be added to punishing heat, humidity in the Midwest this week.
Summers are high in the Midwest, and corn is “sweaty.” It is a healthy process for plants, but increasing humidity levels can exacerbate the suffocating heat in humans. In a process called evapotranspiration, plants release water vapor into the atmosphere. The released water is combined with other water molecules to humidify the air. Differences occur in plains and Midwest regions with millions of acres of corn and soybean crops, pumping billions of gallons of water into the atmosphere of some states. Excess water can add 5-10 degrees to the dew point, a measure of air humidity on a hot summer day. “Maize Sweat” exacerbates heat domes set to push extreme temperatures this week in most of the United States.
