Clark Lee says Diego Pavia should compete for the Heisman
Clark Lee said Diego Pavia should be in Heisman Trophy contention after the Vanderbilt University football quarterback led the team to victory over LSU.
When the US LBM Coaches Poll is released on Sunday, October 19th, four of the top 10 ranked teams will fall.
On Friday, Oct. 17, No. 2 Miami suffered a blowout loss to Louisville, 24-21, and No. 10 LSU traveled to Nashville and lost to No. 18 Vanderbilt, 31-24. No. 5 Ole Miss, which lost to No. 7 Georgia 43-35 on the road, will also drop several spots in the rankings, along with No. 8 Texas Tech, which lost 26-22 to Arizona State.
Georgia Tech has a good chance of finishing in the top 10 in the coaches poll after starting 7-0, as the Yellow Jackets defeated Duke 27-18 on the road in Week 8. The University of Oklahoma, ranked 13th, has a chance to return to the top 10 after suffering many losses to other teams.
The 6th place University of Alabama also defeated the University of Tennessee at home 37-20, winning the ranking for the fourth straight year.
