Cinnabon celebrates its 40th anniversary with a $1.25 cinnamon roll

Cinnabon celebrates its 40th anniversary by offering customers throwback deals and nostalgic accessories.

The company said in a news release on August 12th that it was offering a $1.25 classic cinnamon roll to Cinnabon Rewards members, the original price since the brand opened in 1985.

“For 40 years, Cinnabon has delighted its fans with some of the world’s most fascinating snacks. It all started with the iconic classic cinnamon roll,” Urvi Patel, Chief Brand Director of Cinnabon, said in a news release. “As we celebrate our 40th birthday, we are celebrating the timeless desires of Cinnabon and the source of countless sweet memories for our fans.”

To join Cinnabon Rewards, customers can visit cinnabon.com/rewards. New members will receive a free 4-count bonbite offer if they purchase at the time of participation.

Cinnabon announces Bon Backpack

Additionally, the brand has introduced a 1980s-style insulated backpack called the bon backpack, designed to keep Cinnabon treats warm on the go.

“The custom insulating pockets perfectly created for your favorite Cinnabon Treats allow fans to carry their favorite treats in style with this nostalgic accessory,” the company said in a news release. The backpack is available for $40 at swag.cinnabon.com.
