National Avocado Day takes place on Thursday, July 31st, and Chipotle offers customers the opportunity to win free guacamole for a year.

In a news release on July 28, the restaurant chain said it was to “realize the dreams of avocado enthusiasts,” known as “aborot lenses,” a new interactive AR lens called “Aborot lenses,” which consumers can use to earn 52 codes for free guacamole.

Chipotle will be holding the “Avolotto Sweepstakes” from 6am on July 28th to 11:59pm on July 30th. This allows Snapchat users to use “Avolotto Lens” to scan real avocados to win the grand prize.

Chipotle says they have teamed up with Snapchat to create an exclusive new AR lens that recognizes 1,000 fans every day during the promotion and rewards 1,000 fans every day with “Free Guac Rewards.”

Here’s how the promotion works and how all reward members can get free guac on National Avocado Day:

How do Abolot lenses work?

According to Chipotle, here is how to use the Aborot lens: Please note that you will need a reward account to redeem the prize.

  1. Go to www.snapchat.com/@chipotlesnaps and go to Chipotle Profile to find the “Abolot” lens.
  2. Use the camera to scan for actual avocados.
  3. Find out your destiny and see if a free Guac awaits you for a year with the on-screen message. To redeem, winners must enter the code that will appear on Snapchat in their Chipotle Rewards account within five days of receipt.

Chipotle’s National Avocado Day Contract

On July 31st, all Chipotle Rewards members can get Guacamole freeside or toppings using the Chipotle app and promo code AVO2025 on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com.

“Every year on National Avocado Day, a holiday that became synonymous with Chipotle, we have found a new and creative way for fans to acquire hand-mashed guac,” said Chipotle, CEO of Chipotle, Chipotle, in a news release. “We only use real ingredients in our restaurants, so when we worked with Snapchat to create “Avolotto,” we had to make sure we only detect real fruits. ”
