No matter how hard a Little League pitcher throws, he can avoid injuries
While some hard-throw pitchers appeared in the Little League World Series, Steve Borelli explains why several steps should be followed to avoid injury.

International teams are once again on top of Little League baseball world.
China’s Taipei, the champion of the Asia-Pacific region, has run along the 2025 Little League World Series title behind ACE pitcher Lin Chin-Tse.
Chin-Tse’s pitching line was simply dominant – five innings, one hit, 0 errors, 0 walks, 4 strikeouts – and he had the most important hits in the game (base clearing triples) during the five-run bottoms of the team’s five innings.
On the strength of Chin-Tse’s arm and the stellar defense behind him, China’s Taipei defeated Nevada 7-0, winning its first Little League World Series title since 1996, making the 29 drought a nation’s drought. Teammates
To support the championship effort, China’s Taipei made three double plays on Sunday, marking the team’s fourth cry in 12 days of LLW in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This was the 18th LLWS title in China’s overall Taipei and the second best title of 40 total titles won from the US team.
Nevada was aiming to win the state’s first LLWS title and continue the six LLW Championship streaks dating back to 2018.
According to ESPN, he hasn’t pitched in two weeks. He hit the first batter he faced on five pitches. He then walked three consecutive batters to load the bases. Taipei, China had no hitters by Lin Qing Tse, divided by Garrett Gallegos of Nevada. But Nevada cannot add to that hit as the innings are over. China’s Taipei still leads 2-0 after leading in five innings.

D’Ambrosio threw the pitch for the 85th and won the final from the bottom of four innings. New pitchers will appear in the next innings, but for now, China’s Taipei has a 2-0 lead.
Chin-TSE won the top of the invitation for the fourth time and the second strikeout of the game. Throughout the four innings, he has not allowed a hit while pitching 49 pitches (36 on strike).
D’Ambrosio gave up on an infield single to Chen Shi-Rong. Chen Shillong later came in second on the wild pitch and scored when Danbrosio made a slow error on a slow base from a bunt attempt. D’Ambrosio, who currently has a pitch of up to 69, limited further damage with strikeouts to finish the bottom of three innings. Three innings have been completed. China’s Taipei leads 2-0.
Chin-TSE faces three innings from the smallest number of batters (9) and pitched only 37 pitches (28 on strike), but the perfect game is still alive.
The US team has won all Little League World Series Championship games since 2018. The international team that will win the LLWS was from Tokyo, Japan in 2017.
Jian Zih-de began to bottom two innings on foot. Zih-De came in second on the wild pitch and third on the groundout. Luke D’Ambrosio threw a ball four as Ho Fu-yi faces a 3-1 count on the plate. The ball drips away from the catcher, and Zih-de ran through the house and hit the tag. China’s Taipei leads Nevada 1-0 after two innings.

The US Championships on Saturday by Nevada’s Summerlin South Little League was Nevada’s second U.S. Little League title, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. But now Nevada is aiming for the state’s first LLWS title, an even bigger goal.
D’Ambrosio gave up the single on one out and hit the batter with two outs, allowing China’s Taipei Lai Yu-Han to load the base with two outs before coming to the plate. However, D’Ambrosio jumped out to escape this jam. After one inning we are scoreless.
China’s Taipei has surpassed its 15-3 opponent in four games so far, including three shutouts.
Chin-Tse got a groundout, a jump out and a strikeout to compete for the top of the first inning.
Nevada produced 52 hits, 15 extra bass hits, four home runs and 38 runs. All categories lead the LLWs into the LLWs Championship Game on Sunday.
Lin Ching of Taipei, China, won the mound for the Asia-Pacific region champion, with Nevada’s Luke Dunbrosio becoming the starter for the Mountain Region champion.

The difference between seven innings and all the innings needed afterwards is that the runner starts seven innings (and beyond) with 2 bases. Little League baseball does not have strict limits on pitching innings per game. However, Little League monitors the number of pitches a player can throw into the game, and there are days of rest related to the number of pitches a player throws in each game. The maximum number of pitches a player can throw in a Little League World Series game is 85. However, a pitcher can pass the 85 pitch threshold and end the batting that began at 85 pitches, but that batter will be the last one before he has to remove the pitcher from the mound.– Sharron Christie
Under normal circumstances, the Little League full World Series game plays in six innings. If the home team leads the six innings and gets three outs against the visiting team, the game ends with five and a half innings as the home team is not hit at the bottom of the six innings. – Sharron Christie

Sunday’s action in the Little League World Series starts at 10am in the third place game. That game follows the championship game between Taipei and Nevada, China, at 3pm.
The Las Vegas area is a hot spot for Little League baseball talent, and Summerlin South Little League (Las Vegas) was just the latest example. Summerlin South LL won a spot in the Little League World Series this year, beating Lone Peak Little League (Alpine, Utah) 6-3 in the Mountain Championship Game. According to Fox 5 Las Vegas, Summerlin South was the third straight team in southern Nevada, representing the LLWS region. If Summerlin South can win the 2025 Little League World Series title, it will be Nevada’s first team to do that. – Sharron Christie
Tung-Yuan LL (Taipei, Chinese Taipei) cruised over a 6-1 record in the Asia-Pacific Tournament to arrive at Williamsport this year. According to the Little League, “This will be the fourth trip to Taipei, China, representing the Asia-Pacific region, starting with the Fulin Little League (Taipei), which won a bid in 2022.” Taipei, China, has a rich history with LLW, which has 33 contestants, including this year. The Tung-Yuan Little League made its final, other-only trip to Williamsport in 2015, finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record, Little League said. If China’s Taipei seems to be one of the international teams to watch every year, that’s because China’s Taipei is the country with the smallest League World Series title (17) outside the United States, when the country’s final championship came from the Chaochon Little League in 1996. – Sharron Christie
2024 LLWS ended with a thriller, as Florida claimed an extra 2-1 victory over Taiwan.
The Lake Mary Little League team has made history beyond lifting the Little League World Series trophy. When they won the game, they became the first team based in Florida, winning the tournament and finished a run where eight LLW finalists lost in the title game. – Sharron Christie
