USA Today Taste Tests McDonald’s Snack Laps
USA Today reporters and producers should return to the menu for the first time since 2016 and try out McDonald’s snack wraps.
For a long time, people on gluten-free diets were unable to participate in the cheez-it, crunchy snack, but the wait was almost over.
This week, the famous snack brand announced that Cheez-It will release its own gluten-free version in 2026. Snacks are expected to launch its store within the next year, according to a news release from the brand.
“We’re still baking… So stay tuned for Cheez-It social channels for more information on availability. We’re excited to bring this to our fans!” release reads.
Why release gluten-free Cheez-It?
According to the company, the new gluten-free snack comes after fans of the iconic brand have been sought for gluten-free options for years.
“We have worked hard to ensure the best recipes and processes that fans of the same iconic, cheesy, crispy, salty and delicious flavored cheese will crave the best recipes and processes that we all crave for those who missed us,” the company wrote in its release.
The new product was announced to the public on Instagram by Cheez-It, and the post includes a date of “xx/xx/2026”.
“That’s happening!!!!
