Predicting the best record for the top college football conference
USA Today Sports ‘Paul Myerberg classifies who you think will win in the Power Four Conferences and Group of Five.
Seriously sports
Don’t be distracted by No. 1 and No. 2 just outside the gate. It’s definitely an eye-catching eye-catching thing.
However, this demolition derby of the College Football Playoff Beauty Contest will be much deeper. Or 25 games, specifically.
All game issues have been replaced by weekly issues. Additionally, each week includes games that somehow shape the college football playoff race.
Hands and feet in the car, children. We ride wild, white knuckles over the college football season in 25 Cain Miss games. The final CFP then predicted the order of termination.
August 30th
Texas, Ohio: The rematch of last year’s national semi-finals and the beginning of the Archmanning era in Texas. Or was it the time of Julian Sain in Ohio?
Clemson LSU: LSU coach Brian Kelly doesn’t want to say he won the game. But I can see from here, and it looks like Ed Orgeron. No national titles.
Notre Dame in Miami: The Hurricane wasted a season worthy of the Heisman Trophy from QB Camward in 2024. They waste another season at Georgia Transfer QB Carson Beck if the defense isn’t straightened by the new DC Corey Hetherman.
September 6th
Michigan in Oklahoma: The Sooners and Wolverines get cupcakes to start the season before they know if both (or either) deserve CFP. The most secured QB in True Freshman QB (Brice Underwood, Michigan) vs. Transfer Portal (John Matthere).
September 13th
LSU’s Florida: The first real test of the Florida QB DJ Lagway is protected in all offseasons with any number of injuries (shoulder, core, calves). How does he deal with Death Valley and the potentially desperate LSU team?
September 20th
Florida in Miami: If the Hurricane defeated Notre Dame, then beating Florida would have had no choice but to lock down the CFP spot. Because ACC schedules are as difficult as finding beautiful people in South Beach.
September 27th
Oregon, Pennsylvania: Ducks have two game seasons. In Pennsylvania and in bitter rivals Washington to finish the season. Other than that, there’s nothing to stop Oregon from another undefeated regular season.
Alabama in Georgia: I’m honestly not feeling that. Remember Alabama-LSU (first game) in 2011? Yes, here’s a 9-6.
October 4th
Texas in Florida: Gators coach Billy Napier said he “spot the ball” in connection with a difficult schedule. After a string of games at LSU, Miami, Texas and Texas A&M, we’ll see if this team is legal.
Boise State of Notre Dame: The Irish lost to northern Illinois last year and still made the college football playoffs. But if Boise loses the season opener in South Florida, they may need a victory if they are another potential highest-ranking group of six conference champions.
October 11th
Ohio, Illinois: I know what you’re thinking: Illinois? But what do you not like? A big and experienced offensive line, a three-year starter at quarterback and a top-five defense for the Big Ten. And a dangerous game for Ohio.
Oklahoma vs Texas: I could especially bore you, but let’s face it: you don’t have a 31-point knot on your head (as OU did in 2024) and don’t go back to the following season. It’s not this series.
October 18th
Texas Institute of Technology, Arizona: Tech coach Joey Maguire has no better excuse. Find out if the money can really buy the (Big 12) Championship. more.
October 25th
Alabama in South Carolina: The Gamecocks are the toughest teams on the entire field. The elite play of QB Lanorris Sellers allows them to defeat anyone (including Alabama). Without that, they could lose to Virginia Tech in week one.
November 1st
Pennsylvania, Ohio: I was able to make excuses to Pennsylvania coach James Franklin before the facts (Ryan Day lost to Michigan and still won everything), but don’t make yourself a child: it has to happen. This game is this season.
Arizona, Iowa: They played CFP on the line for the first time in last year’s Big 12 Championship. ASU isn’t too easily out of Ames this time.
Georgia vs Florida: When Florida last beat Georgia in 2020, the Gators made things to Kirby’s smart defense that barely had. Talent level is again in Gainesville, and if Rugway remains healthy, this could be the first loss of Georgia’s season.
November 8th
Alabama LSU: For a while, let’s imagine LSU defeated Clemson and Florida, and everyone else. This is truly Kelly’s most talented team. The game suddenly becomes an early line of sand from the Karen DeBoer era in Alabama.
November 15th
Texas in Georgia: Please admit that, you can’t forget the deer at the moment in the headlights for Manning last season in this game. I’m coming out on my limbs here: defending Georgia in Athens might be a little different. if you know what i mean.
Oklahoma by Alabama: If SONERS is truly a legitimate threat to beat the SEC, it starts here. The Texas game becomes pure emotion. This is pure will, hoping, standing up.
November 22nd
Southern California, Oregon: Fans are restless and the university desperately wants to avoid major acquisitions. Forget about the fact that USC coach Lincoln Riley, the elite recruiting class, is building in 2026. He may need this game to save his job.
November 28th
Georgia at Georgia Institute of Technology: A renovation at Bobby Dodfield forced Georgia Tech to move the game to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. This means that 16,000 fans will win the series for the first time since 2016, securing the CFP spot.
Texas A&M in Texas: Aggies coach Mike Elko was talking all offseason like a guy who knows he has a good team. Then again, all that bravery was able to trip around Sixth Avenue after another ugh loss, looking for late-night Thanksgiving leftovers.
November 29th
Ohio, Michigan: If you think Ohio fans have softened Ryan’s coach after last year’s National Championship, wait for what a fifth straight loss to Michigan will bring.
Clemson in South Carolina: This could be the difference between Clemson, which earns the No. 1 overall seed in CFP, and South Carolina, which makes CFP. And you know, they dislike Each other. That’s all.
